MUDURNU
MADANLAR MANSION
The mansion, nicknamed Madanlar, is located in a large garden in Hızırfakı Neighborhood. In the three-storey mansion, which fully reflects the local civil architecture features of Mudurnu, there are wooden ceiling motifs specific to Mudurnu houses, bay windows, couches in the sofa areas and rooms opening to the sofas. In the sofas, there are flower beds, an interior architecture element unique to Mudurnu, and in the rooms there are couches, wooden cabinets and stoves on the windowsills.

We stayed 3 nights in the madanlar mansion we were very comfortable. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable. We had a very nice time in a friendly and sincere family environment. It was very enjoyable to chat with Ege Hanim and Yunus Bey. Mudurnu is a small but very sweet town, I recommend both the mansion and Mudurnu with peace of mind.

Kış aylarında ilk tercihimiz Mudurnu’da bu kez yolumuz Madanlar Konağı ile kesişti, öyle güzel bir Konak ki yöneticisi Ege Hanım akademisyen kimliğiyle gerçekleştirdiği restorasyon ile tarihi dokuyu koruyarak muhteşem bir hizmet sunmakta. Odaların temizliği, kahvaltı ve sağlanan hizmetler süperdi, bundan sonra da sürekli uğrayacağımız Mudurnu’daki tek Konak olacak. Her şey için çok teşekkürler Ege Hanım.

Before coming to Mudurnu, we decided here as a result of a lot of mansion research. I am glad we did so. It is 5 minutes walk from the center of the bazaar and a perfect mansion with a lush garden away from the noise. We stayed in the Fahriye lady room. Unlike some mansions, the toilet and shower are in the room. Moreover, it is luxuriously designed. Room temperature is quite sufficient. Hot water is perfect. Towels and sheets are immaculate. Breakfast is like a family table with conversation. It is quite satisfying. You feel like going to the guest house. You can use the kitchen for drinks. Mrs. Ege’s pleasant conversation is indescribable. We had a comfortable experience in a historical mansion. We thank Ms. Ege and Ms. Hatice for giving us this experience.

The most beautiful detail of our one-day trip to Mudurnu with my wife was staying at Madanlar Mansion. This is a wonderful mansion restored without spoiling the historical texture. It is immaculate. You are welcomed with love. Calm, peaceful…The nature is very beautiful. We especially chose autumn to come; the view was like a painting. Bathroom and toilet cleanliness received full marks from us. When you leave, you say “I will come again”. I highly recommend it.
